On November 17th, together with Escribo, we organised The Fountain Pen Day, an event dedicated to the broadly understood culture of writing.It was not just a celebration of fountain pens, paper, ink, nibs, pencils. It was also a meeting place, exchange of experiences and conversations of writing enthusiasts.Like every year, the exhibition has been accompanied by exhibitions, shows and workshops.

During the meeting, the Pen of the Year 2018 was chosen – the statuette went to the pen Loclen Electa Brass, but in the Internet voting the first place was won by our Faber-Castell Neo Slim Black matt pen.Amex was present with the following brands: Faber-Castell, Graf von Faber-Castell and – for the first time – Leuchtturm1917.The Fountain Pen Day was a great opportunity to present two versions of the new Graf von Faber-Castell Pen of the Year 2019 – Samurai, as well as the “Faber-Castell for Bentley” collection.Before the premiere, you could also buy new Leuchtturm1917 notebook colours – port red and pacific green.

Each of the LT1917 buyers could personalize their notebook for free on that day. Based on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of regaining independence, the Bazarnik company prepared the limited red notebooks Leuchtturm 1917 with the official seal “independent” and a number from 1 to 100 stamped. The first 10 issues were forwarded to the Chancellery of the Polish government.In addition to the stand and the presentation of new items, we have prepared a Faber-Castell children’s corner, where the youngest could test our pencils and pens. We also conducted a “My First Fountain Pen” workshop, during which we tested the resistance of Scribolino pen nibs together.For slightly older participants there were two workshop blocks: Brush Pen Calligraphy with Faber-Castell and Bullet Journal – creative planning with Faber-Castell and Leuchtturm 1917, which was led by Partyk Martuś from the Warsaw Calligraphy House.  We would like to thank Escribo for the fruitful cooperation in organizing this extraordinary meeting, all exhibitors – for the high level of engagement, and all the participants – for their frequent attendance and fantastic atmosphere.
